This whole trip to Iloilo and Guimaras wouldn’t have been possible if not for the suggestion of my Twitter friend Zsa Zsa. And so, this trip also doubled as an eyeball session of sorts for me.
We met Zsa Zsa at Breakthrough in Iloilo. There, we had our fill of oysters and other crazy-yummy-fresh seafood. It actually shocked us to learn that a big serving of oysters just costs PHP35 over there, whereas a tiny plate of it would cost hundreds (or even thousands) in Manila. Thanks, Zsa, for the treat!
When in Iloilo, EAT! So after our hearty lunch, Zsa and her friend Amos drove us around Iloilo for a bit. We made a quick stop at Molo Church to take pics. After which, we ate again!
We went to Coffee Break in Smallville where we had, well, coffee! Feeling coffee-deprived in Guimaras, I went for the espresso frappe and felt instantly up and alert. We also got some of their little brownies which tasted okay.
We spent our last few hours in Iloilo chatting with our new friends and meeting many more people. It was a fun experience, just talking and watching the world go by. I hope my next adventure trip will be as fun as this!
